Stripes & Pips started as a personal project. I found the available question banks limited, expensive, or packed with content I'd never use. None of them matched the way I wanted to study.
Instead of paying over the odds for bundles of videos and textbooks that would mostly sit untouched, I learned to build the resource I actually wanted. A focused, carefully written multiple-choice question bank with the exact statutory wording behind every answer, plus explanations for why each option is right or wrong. Available whenever you need it, on your phone.
Stripes & Pips launched in 2026 with around 1,100 questions covering all three syllabus volumes, with the aim of growing to between 2,500 and 3,000 over time. Writing good questions takes time, so the launch price reflects that this is a genuine work in progress. As the question bank grows, the live question count is updated on your dashboard so you can always see exactly what you're getting.
This isn't a publishing company. It's a side project built by someone who wanted a better way to revise. That's why it's priced as an introductory offer. The aim isn't to replace your existing revision materials, but to sit alongside them, for roughly the cost of a meal out for your entire revision period, not every month.
I don't have a retirement CV. I'm not an expert in "board technique" and I'm not a London barrister. I'm just someone who wanted a better way to revise and decided to build it. If it helps you get promoted, then it was worth the effort.
